The demand for small apartments in Baku has increased in recent years due to the sharp rise in property prices.
According to Xezerxeber.az, extremely high prices for 2, 3 and 4-room apartments accelerated the sale of small 1-room houses that are offered at relatively low prices.
Real estate expert Elnur Farzaliyev says that the price of 3- and 4-room apartments in newly built buildings in central areas starts at 250,000 manat and ranges from 600,000 to 700,000 manat.
In recent years, the increased possibilities of selling properties on credit and the fact that the maximum amount of the preferential mortgage is 100,000 manat have increased the sale of this type of apartments.
It was also stated that MTK pays special attention to this in the construction of buildings due to the high demand for small apartments and the increasing number of relatively small houses.
