Noteworthy, after the meeting, Noel still doubts the story called FPI, a radical organization.
“So far, narratives related to radicalism and others have really been rejected today with me present at the FPI headquarters,” Noel told reporters after meeting Rizieq in Petamuran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (2/4/2025).
Noel used to support Jokowi admitted that he was amazed at Rizieq Shihab’s figure. Moreover, his thoughts, which really appreciate the difference.
“Yes, there is a message, Mr. Habib Rizieq about democracy, about the differences. He knows that I was a supporter of Jokowi Jokowi yesterday, 2014-2019. This means he has extraordinary thoughts. This means that differences are considered ordinary. In Islam, in FPI, even,” he said.
Noel hopes that Rizieq can contribute to national development.
“We want to bring back this country, try to get along together. So after all Rizieq’s Habib is also a panty that we should respect him. Apart from Patrotism, good scholars with a place shined in the hearts of his people,” he said.
