“Relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan are an example for other countries. This is also reflected in the statements of the leaders of both countries.”
These words were spoken by Savalan Mirzayev, a member of the Georgian Parliament, in his statement to the “Report”.
In his words, thanks to the joint efforts of the Heads of State and Government, relations have reached the level of strategic partnership:
“I believe that bilateral relations with Azerbaijan developed and strengthened precisely during the period when the Georgian Dream party was in power. As a representative of the ruling party and a member of the interparliamentary friendship group, I see that efforts are being made to develop relations in all areas”.
The deputy also stated that the people of Georgia know very well the political direction of the ruling party: “Everyone knows well that our main objective is to preserve peace in the country and develop it.”
“We have won the mandate of the people of Georgia for 12 years. I hope that on October 26 we will again win the support of the people with a high percentage. The preliminary results of the sociological surveys carried out further increase this confidence.” , noted S. Mirzayev.
He stressed that for several months Western Georgia has been trying to create the conditions for a change of power: “They are appealing to forces outside the country to create some kind of chaos and disrupt order. But they will not be able to achieve it.”
