Deputy: “Those who lost an arm or a leg should not undergo a second examination”

“It is necessary to simplify the procedure for re-examination of citizens who have lost their health.”

This was stated by MP Jeyhun Mammadov during the discussion of the bill “On the budget of the State Social Protection Fund for 2025” at the plenary session of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.

“If a person has lost an arm or a leg, I suggest that he not undergo repeated examinations. We have too many appeals on this issue,” said the deputy.

Jeyhun Mammadov drew attention to the decreasing number of children going to school:

“According to the information of the State Statistics Committee, while 132,261 children were admitted to the 1st grade in the 2023-2024 academic year, 137,862 children attended the 1st grade of the country’s general education schools in the academic year 2022-2023. About 6,000 children went to school. This problem is more pronounced in the regions and there is a significant decrease in “the number of children who go to school. All this makes it necessary to think about additional financial support mechanisms for families with many children.”
