The details of the criminal case of Vurgun Mansimov, accused of bribery, fraud, embezzlement and fraud, have become known.
According to information obtained by Pravda.az, in the process presided over by the judge of the Lankaran Serious Crimes Court, Oruj Jalilov, it was announced that from September 1, 2011 to October 20, 2022 he will be the head of Yardimli. During the period of his employment, he repeatedly committed fraud by breach of trust and deception using his position of service, embezzled and wasted a considerable amount of other people’s property entrusted to him using his position of service and the performance of his duties. as an official he received a bribe to obtain financial benefits for himself and committed fraud by deliberately introducing false information in official documents with greedy intent.
Thus, Vurgun Mansimov embezzled 71,445 manats of funds from the state budget, committed a fraud of 8,000 manats and received 3,000 manats in bribes.
According to the court ruling, the former director was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
