Several previously unknown details have been revealed about the anti-terrorist operation in Karabakh.

“On September 19-20, as a result of targeted strikes by our army, 8 tanks, 22 artillery systems, 14 mortars, 3 anti-aircraft complexes, 8 REM vehicles, 9 military vehicles, and weapons and equipment of the enemy were destroyed. In addition, as a result of the operation, 1,731 various combat vehicles, artillery, anti-aircraft missile installations, military vehicles, special equipment and other combat equipment, as well as 18,664 firearms were seized and seized from the enemy.
It was also reported that the operation was carried out in 13 locations, five in the north and eight in the south.
Taking advantage of the experience of the Patriotic War and taking into account the topography of the area where the operation was carried out, our units moved mainly in small groups. This ensured rapid movement and created the effect of a sudden capture for the enemy. As a result of this, our units advanced 5-26 kilometers deep into the enemy’s depths in the directions of Aghdara-Asgaran, Khankendi-Khojavand, Sugovushan-Vang, Tazakend-Syrkhavand, as well as Khankendi-Khojaly and took control of all roads in these directions.
After a few hours, our special units, having infiltrated deep into the enemy’s territory and advanced 9.5 km, successfully completed the task of fully ensuring control of access and exit from the territory in all directions.
The Azerbaijani army, demonstrating high professionalism, carried out an anti-terrorist operation within the norms and principles of international humanitarian law, without attacking any civilian persons or objects, and forced the surrender of 15,000-18,000 military groups in less than 24 hours.
