As a result of the destruction of a drone in the sky over Belarusian Gomel, a building was damaged, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus announced today, September 5.
“A brick warehouse on 8 Ilyich Street in Gomel caught fire as a result of the crash of an allegedly downed UAV. Units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguished the fire, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed BELTA.” – says the message.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire damaged 5 sq. m of roof, but no one was injured.
It was previously reported that on the night of September 5, a violation of the Belarusian state border in airspace was recorded, presumably by drones. Belarusian air defenses destroyed the target.
