Developer Aurquia changes name to Aurora and plans to build 1,500 homes

New residential construction developer Aurquia has been renamed Aurora, after almost three years on the market and with land to develop over 1,500 housing units throughout the national territory.

The company thus begins its next stage of growth, with which it hopes to continue “to consolidate itself in the affordable and sustainable housing segment, both for rent and for sale”. It also plans to strengthen its specialization in cooperative management, providing advice on self-promotion, while continuing to explore new residential trends in the Spanish market, such as flexible living or delegated promotion.

Currently, Aurora has land for 1,500 homes, of which more than 1,000 are located in the Community of Madrid, particularly in the southeast of the capital, such as Los Berrocales, where it will develop more than 300 homes, or Los Cerros, where it has land to develop more than 600 housing units.

Aurora launched the latest promotion last September. With the name of Nevia and located in El Escorialincorporates 88 housing units under the Limited Price Public Protection Housing (VPPL) regime and developed under a cooperative regime, like the rest of its developments in the Community of Madrid.

“The name Aurora symbolizes this progress, the arrival of a new stage for our group, even more dedicated to generating a positive and lasting impact on society. In other words: it constitutes a statement of our goal to balance quality, durability and functionality with affordable prices in all our self-promoted and cooperative management projects”, explained its CEO, Ignacio Moreno.
