Dia announced today the establishment of a Work Regulation File (ERE) which will concern a maximum of 65 employeess from its headquarters in Spain, where it has a workforce of more than 14,000 employeesThis is part of the company’s strategy to adapt its organizational structure to its current reality with a more targeted international scope.

Since 2022, Grupo Dia has made key decisions to simplify its operating model and focus its efforts on the markets of Spain and Argentina. This includes, among others, the sale of the Clarel, Portugal and Brazil businesses in recent times. The decision to carry out this ERE responds to the need to adapt the organization to its new scope, thus focusing its efforts on the business units with the greatest growth potential and with the aim of building a stronger future for the company.
The constitution of the negotiating table with union representatives begins now. The company will act with responsibility and respect, as it has done so far, offering a fluid and constructive dialogue for these purposes.
