The ABC director and the city mayor will address the main challenges of the Barcelona metropolis during the presentation of the ABC special supplement, “Barcelona, engine of Spain”.
On December 2, the Casa Seat building in Barcelona will host a call in the form of dialogue between the director of ABC, Julien Quirosand the mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni. During this meeting, which can be followed on ABC.es, the main challenges facing the Catalan capital will be discussed, at a time when the city and its metropolitan region, as well as Spain as a whole, are facing major transformations.
In this context, the meeting will also serve to publicly present the special supplement ‘Barcelona, engine of Spain‘, which is delivered with ABC on November 29, and in which a series of reports reviews the main assets of the metropolis of Barcelona in the new scenario that opens after overcoming a few years of great upheavals, political and social.
With “Barcelona, engine of Spain”, ABC intends to give voice to the most dynamic sectors of Barcelona society, from its main research centers to its main companies, from its cultural institutions to civil society meeting pointswithout ceasing to focus on key chapters such as infrastructure, in the midst of a debate on the expansion of the airport, or tourism management. A revision of Barcelona which wants to continue to be the engine of Spain.
