Yolanda Díaz, second vice president and Minister of Labor, confirms this Thursday that she will “immediately” convene the social dialogue table to reduce the working day to 37.5 hours per week.

On another note, in reference to a possible agreement with other parliamentary groups on tax reform, Díaz highlighted that the Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, is working on this negotiation to reach an agreement, but she remained cautious: “Let them work on this negotiation until the afternoon,” declared the leader of the Labor Party.

Díaz stressed that this tax reform will not only make it possible to respect commitments in Europe, but also obtain more public revenue from those who have the most.
