DiCaprio’s “double” Roman Burtsev, located near Moscow, signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense. This was reported today, October 6, by RIA Novosti.
Burtsev posted a photo on his VKontakte social network page in a military uniform with a machine gun.
“I signed the contract and didn’t mention anything about the SVO. It was a long and difficult decision. “I can’t tell where I am or what I’m doing.” – said Burtsev.

To questions about a possible relationship with the artist, Burtsev replied that even if there was one, documentary evidence of this was most likely lost during the years of the revolution.
Let us remember that Leonardo DiCaprio, 49, really has Russian roots. His father, George DiCaprio, is half Italian, half German and his mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, is half Russian. DiCaprio’s grandmother, Helen Indenbirken, was born Elena Stepanovna Smirnova (1915-2008), who was taken by her parents from the Russian Empire to Germany after the October Revolution. According to DiCaprio, the grandmother spoke Russian and the other grandfather was also Russian.
