A video of an ambulance operating in Goychay circulated on social networks. In the video, a citizen complains that an ambulance is transporting three seriously ill patients at the same time.
We have addressed a request to the Management Union of Territorial Medical Units (TABİB) regarding the matter.
From the institution Oku.AzIn response to the request of , it was reported that on November 4 at 1:00 p.m., according to the office of the Goychay District Central Hospital, a call was made to transfer two patients to medical institutions located in Baku:
“One of those patients was placed on a stretcher in the rear compartment because he was traumatized, and the other patient refused to sit in the rear compartment of the car due to claustrophobia (fear of closed spaces) and sat in the front seat as exception.
It should be noted that these ambulances are equipped to transport one patient sitting and another lying down.
We also informed them that there was no danger to the lives of both patients and that along the way they received adequate medical assistance and were admitted to medical institutions in Baku according to their recommendations.
