The logistics company was the first among them to present its results. It closed its 2024 financial year on September 30 with a net profit of 308 million euros, increasing that of the previous year by 13.2%. Thus, during the presentation, it was announced that the Board of Directors of Logista intended to propose to the General Meeting of Shareholders the distribution of an additional dividend for the year 2024 of 203 million euros (1.53 euros per share), which will be paid in the first quarter of the calendar year 2025.

The total dividend corresponding to the 2024 financial year will reach an amount of 277 million euros (2.09 euros per share), which represents an increase of 13% compared to that distributed the previous year (1.85 euros per share) and a payment by 90%.

Sacyr presented its results on the same day as Logista, and recorded a net profit of 74 million euros over the first nine months of the year, representing an increase of 1.3% compared to the same period of 2023. Manuel Manrique, president of the company, announced that Sacyr’s economic model “finds its growth engine in the distribution of dividends from more than 70 assets”.

In May, during the presentation of the 2024-2027 strategic plan, it had already announced that dividends would exceed 16 billion euros during its concession periods and now this figure rises to almost 17 billion thanks to the three allocations of the five recent months. Thus, Sacyr paid record remuneration to the shareholder of 0.141 euros per share in 2024, i.e. 72% more than in 2020, and confirms that the group will continue to carry out share buybacks. However, it should be remembered that this dividend is in scenario.

The Telefónica Group earns 989 million euros in the first nine months of the year, 21.7% less than the profit recorded in the same period of 2023. The company confirmed the dividend for the year 2024 estimated at 0.30 euros per share, payable in two installments. of 0.15 euros each and which will be paid next December (the 19th is the payment date and the 17th is the deadline) and in June 2025. The profitability of the next payment amounts to 3.6%.

IAG, for its part, closed the weekly calendar of presentations. The airline group, owner of Iberia, British Airways and Vueling, reported this Friday an after-tax profit of 2,250 million euros, compared to 2,151 million the previous year, or 15.4% more. In terms of shareholder remuneration, it announced a share buyback amounting to 350 million euros, or 6.426% of its capital, to increase the value it generates for shareholders. It is thus trying to reverse the strong generation of liquidity for its investors, after announcing its first interim dividend of 3 cents per share after four years frozen by the pandemic.

For next year, the consensus of experts collected Bloomberg The airline is estimated to distribute a gross dividend of 0.04 euros in June, which would provide a yield of 1.4% at current prices.
