People who usually deal speciesIn the long run, they can accumulate a large volume of small coins, making them inconvenient to count and carry. Likewise, a very different phenomenon can occur: there are users who only have very high value bills with which it is inconvenient to pay, especially if they are small amounts.
In both cases, the user can go to different establishments to request a money exchange, but this will be limited to the cash they have at the checkout. The most recommended option is therefore to go to one of the different branches of the Bank of Spain (BdE). In total, the BdE has 15 locations distributed throughout the national territory:

- Badajoz
- Barcelona

- Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
- Madrid (headquarters)
- Malaga
- Murcia
- Oviedo
- Palm
- Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Coins and notes
In each of these branches, users can make the following changes:
- If it is planned deliver partsthe BoE will accept up to 2,000 coins per person per day if they are sorted and separated, or up to 200 coins if they are not separated. In this sense, the branches in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and Zaragoza have special machines that allow up to 2,000 coins to be exchanged without having to separate them.
- If necessary receive coinsthe BdE can deliver a maximum of 1,000 packaged pieces or 200 unpackaged pieces.
- If necessary deliver ticketsthere is no limit.
- On the other hand, if it is necessary get ticketsthe BdE guarantees at least 100 notes of each denomination. However, this operation may be limited if many people request it on the same day.
