Doctor dispelled a common myth about the common cold

“Drinking chicken soup doesn’t help with a cold.”

“I saw an old study conducted in the 70s, where they compared the effect of chicken soup with antiviral drugs: they said that the soup worked no worse than drugs. Another thing is that in those years antiviral drugs did not work at all “Myasnikov explained.

The doctor emphasized that although the soup does not cure the cold, it helps to get through it better.
