Journalist Giya Saralidze presented a documentary titled “A Journey to the Minefields” about the restoration of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and the danger of landmines.
Oku.Az reports that the film was released on the “YouTube” page of the “Vestnik Kavkaza” resource.
The journalist spoke about the difficulties that Azerbaijan faced after the end of the second Karabakh war.
“Life is gradually returning to the territories liberated from occupation. President of the country Ilham Aliyev Under his leadership, Shusha flourishes, Aghdam revives, roads and necessary infrastructure are built. At the same time, the reconstruction of Karabakh is closely related to the issue of clearing the territories mined by the invaders. Under the direction of the ANAMA agency, numerous specialists search for mines and unexploded ordnance. Among them there is also a special group of young girls,” the video says.
Giya Saralidze spoke to women who put their lives in danger every day and showed them in “before and after” format the construction works carried out in the region in recent years.
