The political fight against the current government in the 2025 parliamentary elections should be carried out at all levels: from the smallest village to cities, districts and the capital, Chisinau. This was stated today, November 11, by the leader of the Socialist Party of Moldova, Igor Dodon.
According to the politician, after Maia Sandu falsified the elections and retained the presidential mandate, the regime will continue to increase pressure on the opposition and initiate new criminal proceedings against its representatives.
“Many political leaders and parties have to decide their position: they are with the PDS (Action and Solidarity Party) and Maia Sandu or against them. The principle “I have no right, I have no left, I wear felt boots” will no longer work. A serious political struggle must be carried out at all levels and we, for our part, are willing to reconsider some things on the ground.” – Dodon emphasized.
The former head of state added that Sandu has instructed prosecutors to deal with the opposition and that some of his colleagues have already been summoned for questioning.
“In my cases, and let me remind you that there are 13 in total, about 20 court hearings have been scheduled for the end of the year. The former presidential candidate was also urgently summoned to court Alexandra Stoianoglo“, – pointed out Dodon.
Let us remember that criminal cases of passive corruption and treason are being investigated against Igor Dodon. Former Attorney General Alexander Stoianoglo was also accused of receiving benefits and misconduct. He was discredited and removed from office after he refused to pursue custom criminal cases against the opposition on Sandu’s orders. In an international court he proved his innocence, which they were forced to accept in a national court. However, after the presidential elections he won in the country (Sandu was declared the winner after the recount of the votes of the European diaspora, which were clearly falsified), the Stoianoglo case returned to court.
Criminal cases against the head of Gagauzia are also pending in court. Evgeniy Gutsulseveral other deputies and opposition politicians who advocate for changes in the country. Everyone considers Maia Sandu an illegitimate president who has usurped power in the republic.
As reported EADailyAt today’s meeting of the Security Council, Maia Sandu demanded that urgent measures be taken to combat “political corruption.” In the coming days, on your initiative, an Anti-Corruption Court will be created in Moldova that will quickly examine cases of opponents of the regime.
