Some heart diseases make themselves felt almost unexpectedly, but a series of symptoms help identify and prevent the problem long before heart failure occurs.
Oku.AzAccording to the report, Russian cardiologist Anna Biryukova spoke about this in an interview with Lenta.ru.
The doctor noted that sometimes after the first cardiac signals, literally a few hours or even minutes remain to save a person. To prevent this from happening, he advised to treat the body carefully and, in some cases, undergo an urgent examination by a cardiologist.
First of all, according to Anna Biryukova, if your heart begins to work less rhythmically than usual, especially if you feel that it sometimes beats in your chest, accelerates or slows down its rhythm under normal conditions and without physical effort, then you should think about consulting a a cardiologist.
“In addition, difficulty breathing when walking, exercising, and climbing stairs can be a warning sign. It may seem like there is not enough air and any physical movement is difficult,” the doctor explained.
Biryukova also urged to consult a doctor when painful, squeezing or sharp, “sinking” pains occur in the chest.
Also, if blood pressure regularly rises above normal – 80/120, if dizziness, fainting occurs and the legs begin to swell, these are also signs of a heart problem.
According to the doctor, if severe pain in the chest suddenly occurs, it is better to call an ambulance.
