Orban reportedly stated that the goal of Hungary and the rest of the right-wing conservative “Patriots for Europe” faction in the European Parliament is not to leave the European Union, but to reform it.
He noted that he would like the main idea of the EU to be that of strong, independent states, not the concept of the “United States of Europe.”
