A few days ago, several accusations were made against Intigam Mammadov, the director of the Department of Trade and Services of the city of Baku. According to reports, Intigam Mammadov wanted to take over the legal business activity of the “20 January” metro station. Dozens of businessmen claim that Intigam Mammadov interfered in their activities.
Intigam Mammadov, director of the Department of Trade and Services of Baku city, denied the allegations.
He told demokrat.az that clean-up work is being carried out in all directions of the city in connection with COP29:
“If there are works being carried out at the entrance and exit of the metro, it has nothing to do with us. What do I have to do with it? We have to investigate whoever made the accusations, but we have nothing to do with it.”
As for your questions about my desire to take up the post, I do not want to answer them. That area has nothing to do with us. Let the Baku Metro and other relevant institutions work there.”
It should be noted that recently Intigam Mammadov was involved in a scandal as the owner of an illegal wedding palace built in Bayil.
