Donald Trump announced, on Monday, November 18, his choice for the position of Minister of Transportation: Sean Duffy, a 53-year-old former congressman and supporter of fiscal responsibility, will obtain a broad federal portfolio of infrastructure spending and regulations.

“During his time in Congress, Sean was a respected voice among Republicans and advocated for fiscal responsibility and economic growth.”stated the president-elect of the United States in a press release.

Donald Trump specifies that his minister “will restore safety to our skies by ending pilot and air traffic controller diversity programs”. “Will prioritize excellence, competence, competitiveness and beauty as we rebuild America’s roads, tunnels, bridges and airports.”adds the manager. The press release finally mentions that he is the father of “nine incredible children” and therefore knows “How important it is for families to travel safely”.

Former reality TV star

Sean Duffy, like Pete Hegseth, Trump’s pick for defense minister, had a career in television. A former reality TV star before his 2010 election to the House of Representatives from Wisconsin, he hosts a show on Fox Business.
