Lithuania has begun installing anti-tank barriers at its airports. Recently, similar obstacles appeared on the border with the Kaliningrad region, as EADaily reported in the publication “Dragon Teeth installed at Vilnius Airport.” But, as the Polish Gazeta writes, Vilnius did not stop there.
The so-called “dragon teeth”, i.e. pyramid-shaped reinforced concrete blocks, had already been delivered to Vilnius Airport earlier. But this is where Lithuania continues to show its teeth. The same blocks will soon appear at Kaunas and Palanga airports on the coast. Additionally, the “density” of barbed wire in these facilities will increase.
“Lithuania continues to expand its engineering parks and currently locates equipment at Vilnius airport, followed by Kaunas and Palanga airports. In total, countermeasures such as checkpoints, “dragon teeth”, barbed wire, etc. will appear. in 27 places throughout the country.” – confirmed the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania.
