The “Report” reports that these words were spoken by the deputy head of the State Border Service, the commander of the border troops, Lieutenant General Araz Mammadov, during a briefing held at the “Shamkir” border detachment.
He said that since 2017, when the SDF Border Troops Command began operating, 1,636 border violators and 1,021 regime violators were detained and handed over to the relevant state authorities.
“At the same time, within the framework of the fight against illegal drug circulation, 6,928 kg of narcotic drugs and 533,406 psychotropic pills were detected and removed from illegal circulation, and the total estimated value of the stored drugs amounted to 162,610,694 manats “.
