Due to the temporary closure of airspace over Iran, several international airlines requested an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

It was reported that the “Boeing 787” plane of the airline company “LOT Polish Airlines”, which was carrying out the Warsaw-Mumbai flight, successfully landed at Baku airport at 21:47 local time.
For the same reason, the captain of the “Boeing 787” plane, which operated the Moscow-Doha flight of the airline “Qatar Airways”, sent a request for a forced landing at Baku airport. The aircraft landed successfully at 21:53.
It should be noted that Heydar Aliyev International Airport has the capacity to receive any aircraft, including large aircraft such as the “Airbus A-380”. The airport operates non-stop, responds quickly to airline requests and provides all services necessary for the safe execution of flights. In all emergency situations, airport services are coordinated to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers.
