Edmundo González denounces having been forced to sign “under duress” a document validating Maduro’s victory

Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia denounced that, while he was taking refuge in the residence of the Spanish ambassador in Caracas, the president of the National Assembly and the vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, forced him to sign a document “under duress” and, therefore, void, with the warning that if he did not do so, he would have to “bear the consequences.”

This was stated by González Urrutia in a video posted on his social networks after showing this Wednesday to the president of the National Assembly (AN, Parliament) of Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, a “letter signed” by the candidate of the majority opposition.

This letter in which González Urrutia affirms to comply with the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to validate the Nicolas Maduro’s controversial victory During the July 28 elections, it was the one that, according to González, he was forced to sign “under duress.”
