Our qualified athlete won 2 gold medals at the WAKO European Kickboxing Championships held in Greece.
Eduard Mammadov, who fought in the “Master Class” category in the 63 kg category, fought in two versions at the contest held in Athens. In the “Light Contact” type, our kickboxer, who defeated the Italian Marco De Franco and the Swede Ola Alvarsson, took 1st place. In “Kick Light”, Eduard Mammadov, who defeated the Italian Kalogero Simone and the Swede Ola Alvarsson, became European champion for the eleventh time.
Eduard Mammadov said that he dedicated his victory to Victory Day. The athlete stated that it is a great honor and pride for him to wave our flag on the world stage and sing our national anthem.
