The Department of Educational Development will increase staff dedicated to meeting special educational needs with 676 new professionals, strengthen professional training and inclusion and emotional well-being programs. The measure has a budget of 30 million which was approved by the Government Council.
Concretely, among the places, a total of 510 correspond to specialist teachers who will join the educational guidance teams as part of the inclusive education program or students with special needs in the second cycle of kindergarten through fourth grade.
45 other teachers will join secondary education in the specialty of educational orientation, while the other 121 are teachers who will enter vocational training for the creation of bilingual training cycles at intermediate and higher level and specialization courses.
