The official newspaper published a decision of the Prime Minister, providing for a decrease in the nationality of Zakaria and Vajdi Zakaria, Ibrahim Yusef, born in Sharkia, from his accession to military service in a foreign country without receiving a previous license.
In the recent period, several decisions were made to terminate citizenship of citizens of Egyptian citizens, since they joined the military service of a foreign country without obtaining a preliminary license for this purpose.
The law on citizenship in Egypt provides for the right to receive the Council of Ministers to cancel Egyptian citizenship, which uses it in several conditions, including: if it is naturalized with foreign citizenship without permission, and if it accepts military service without a preliminary license from the Minister of Defense.
