El Rincón del Pana, the Venezuelan bar in Pamplona that offers you the most spectacular empanadas and arepas

Pana’s corner It’s a bar-restaurant Pamplona which has become a benchmark since its opening two years ago. Highlights your homemade and abundant food which receives many praises on social networks.

El Rincón del Pana is located Tafalla street 6, in the middle of the second Ensanche of the Navarrese capital. Very close to other establishments we have experienced in this section of local commerce.

The bar owners are Venezuelan Stephanie Rodríguez Montiel and Grecia Pérez Gómez 30 years old. “It’s a fusion of Spanish and Venezuelan cuisine. We prepare meals for both audiences,” explains Stéphanie.

They have been living in the same center of Pamplona for two years, since September 11, 2022: “The truth is that very well. The neighbors received us phenomenally and we are very happy. The truth is, yes,” they say.

As for the dishes that stand out the most “The empanadas and arepas are very delicious. It’s a different flavor because everything is homemade and made to order. We are there all day from ten in the morning to eleven in the evening and on Sundays we open for vermouth. We do not close any day of the week. »

Stéphanie and Grecia have been in Pamplona for six years: “We have worked in different hospitality venues like Chez Belagua as a waitress. As we have both worked in both worlds, kitchen and bar, we were encouraged to open up ourselves.”

They like the part of the city where Rincón del Pana is located: “There are a lot of people. In the morning, people usually come to the Ensanche market. and at night it gets quite lively,” they say.

The name Rincón del Pana has an explanation: “Pana in Venezuela is a friend, like your friend. Your mother asks you: who were you hanging out with? and you tell him with my Pana Juan, who is my friend Juan. Friend’s Corner, where you can come here with friends or whoever you want,” they explain.

From the morning, “we worked with pinchitos, coffees, etc. We had a daily menu with a Venezuelan style combination plate, but we left it and worked only with a menu. “There are dishes that combine a little bit of everything and they surprise everyone.”

When people from Pamplona come to the bar “they do it with the mentality that they want to try something from Venezuela and They love arepas, which are very good. You have to try them.”

Stéphanie and Grecia already have their family in Pamplona: “We both have the whole family here, thank God. To parents, brothers and uncles. We are already a few more Pamplonesas. The truth is, yes,” they say.

About Pamplona they say: “We love it. Before coming here we were going to go to Valencia, but we came to Pamplona because we had a family member here and we stayed. We don’t want to leave. We love vegetation. Lots of green and everything is very clean and well maintained. Everyone received us very well and very kind,” they conclude.
