Elections of deputies to local legislative bodies of Kyrgyzstan were carried out without serious violations. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic.

According to law enforcement agencies, more than 15 thousand police officers were on duty at 2,443 polling stations in all regions.

“The police work closely with government agencies and the Central Election Commission. From the beginning of the election campaign until November 17, 96 facts of violations related to the elections were recorded in the electronic information register. On November 17, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., 69 information about violations of electoral legislation were recorded in the information registry.” – says the Ministry of the Interior.

The press service did not rule out the possibility of receiving statements and complaints. However, in general, the department added, the socio-political situation in the republic is stable.
