The firefighters of the León City Council went this evening, at 00:30, to a house on García Paredes Street, in Armunia, to put out the fire caused by an electric scooter. The battery of said device exploded inside the house, starting a fire that injured the tenants of the house.
The local police of León also went to the scene to surround the area and collaborate in the evacuation of the injured. The 112 emergency coordination center of Castilla y León received a call reporting smoke through a window and also informed the national police and Sacyl of the health emergencies, although their intervention was not necessary.
