Oku.Az This was stated by Elmar Mammadov, Co-Chair of the Global Initiatives Group of the COP29 Action Agenda, at the 12th International Caspian Energy Forum.
According to him, another initiative is related to the Declaration of green digital activity: “Last year, the private sector accepted a commitment in the field of green digital activity. It is planned to raise this for the first time at ministerial level, at a thematic day: COP29.”
“Our next initiative is the Baku Initiative on Human Development for Climate Resilience. Within the framework of this initiative, we aim to strengthen cross-sectoral coordination at the global level by bringing together several areas. In particular, education, health, job creation, especially green jobs – by bringing these areas together, we will create a global strategy that we want to ensure cooperation,” the co-chair said.
