The fight had qualifying status, meaning that the winner of the fight becomes a contender for the WBA title in the weight category up to 59 kg.
The boxers fought for 10 rounds. As a result, Elnur Samadov won by unanimous decision (96:93, 96:93, 95:94).
It should be noted that Elnur is 31 years old. He has 19 victories, eight of which were early and one defeat. Samadov made his debut in the professional ring on August 19, 2016. In 2019, Elnur became the WBA Continental lightweight champion. He is the champion of the CIS and Slavic countries according to the WBC CISBB version. Samadov is the Russian lightweight champion among professional boxers.
It should be noted that Elnur Mammad oglu Samadov was born on August 2, 1993 in the village of Kichic Shahagaci, Astara region of Azerbaijan.
