Elon Musk’s first space tourists land safely

The private space mission “Polar Dawn” concluded successfully today, September 15.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX spacecraft landed near the southern tip of Florida and fell into the Strait. The crew includes an American billionaire. Jared Isaacman and three more amateur astronauts: retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Scott Poteet, as well as two women: Space X engineer Sarah Gillis and a doctor. Anna Menon.

The Dragon spacecraft reached an altitude of about 1,400 kilometers, which scientists say is the greatest distance from Earth since the last flights to the Moon within the framework of the Apollo space program in the early 1970s. For example, the ISS space station, which has been operating for several decades, is located at an altitude of about 400 kilometers.
