The study investigated accidents resulting in the death of the driver or passengers between 2017 and 2022. The average probability of such accidents occurring in the United States is 2.8 per billion kilometers. Moreover, in “Tesla” cars, this figure reached 5.6 and was two times higher than the average statistic.
The second place was taken by the Korean brand “Kia”. The indicator of this brand was recorded at 5.5 per billion kilometers. Third place was taken by “Buick” with 4.8 indicators.
Specific models include Hyundai Venue, Chevrolet Corvette, Mitsubishi Mirage, Porsche 911, Honda CR-V Hybrid, Tesla Model Y, Mitsubishi Mirage G4, Buick Recorded on Encore GX, Kia Forte and Buick Envision.
