Previously implemented emergency power outages have been cancelled in kyiv and several regions of Ukraine, the Ukrenergo company reported on its Telegram channel.
On the evening of September 1, the company announced emergency power outages in Kyiv, kyiv, Cherkassy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Zaporozhye, Kharkov, Sumy, Poltava regions, as well as partially in Khmelnitsky, Vinnitsa regions and Ukrainian-controlled parts of the DPR. A few hours later, the restrictions were lifted. The energy company DTEK attributed them to the “difficult situation in the energy system.”
The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly reported attacks on energy facilities in Ukraine. The last time the department announced a massive attack “on critical energy infrastructure facilities that ensure the functioning of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex” was on August 26.
