“Emirates” banned pagers on its planes

The airline “Emirates” has banned the carriage of pagers and a number of wireless communication devices on its planes. The ban applies to both luggage and carry-on luggage.

Oku.Az TASS informs that this is indicated in the carrier’s notification.

It should be noted that the ban is related to the explosions of a large number of communication devices, mainly pagers and walkie-talkies, in several areas of Lebanon on September 17 and 18.

According to Lebanese authorities, 37 people died and more than 3,000 were injured as a result of the incident. The Lebanese movement “Hezbollah” accused Israel of organizing the explosions.
