After more than a week of consultations with the political forces represented in the National Assembly, Emmanuel Macron had not yet announced, on Saturday morning, August 31, the personality he wanted to appoint Matignon. The President of the Republic, returning from a two-day visit to Serbia, could speak at the end of the weekend or at the beginning of next week.
At the same time, the last weekend of August is an opportunity for several political parties to return to summer. Several events are planned for Saturday, including:
- the summer universities of the Socialist Party, still operating in Blois;
- The political comeback of François Ruffin and his continuing education in Picardy! in the commune of Flixecourt (Somme);
- The departmental structures of the Renaissance presidential party in Paris, Seine-et-Marine and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes will receive a visit from Gabriel Attal, the outgoing Prime Minister and president of the parliamentary group in the National Assembly;
- The controversial president of the Republicans, Eric Ciotti, now an ally of the National Rally, is making a comeback in politics in Levens, in the Alpes-Maritimes.
