Baku TV prepared a report about the martyr of the Patriotic War, Elmaddin Babayev.
Gizir Elmaddin Babayev was heroically martyred while avoiding enemy attack during military operations in the direction of the Sugovushan village of Tartar district.
Asif Babazadeh, the martyr’s son, said he was proud of his father and noted that Elmaddin Babayev entrusted him with the family before going to war.
Jafargulu Babayev, the martyr’s father, recalled his last meeting with his son:
“He arrived one day before the start of the war. He received us and left. Elmeddin was a tank commander. He destroyed many enemy tanks in battles. He called me on the afternoon of September 29. He ordered the children to take good care of themselves. “
