More than nine hundred associations, including Caritas, presented a text to the Lower House aimed at regularizing foreigners residing in Spain before November 1, 2021. However, this project remained blocked at the table of Congress, with eight extensions of the deadline for registering amendments, until this Tuesday. Before the deadline expired, ERC, Bildu and Podemos registered a single amendment, to which this newspaper had access, to regularize all immigrants living in Spain “at the time of entry into force of this rule.”
