“A part of the educational expenses of children who study in private nurseries will be borne by the State.”
Oku.Az informs that Eshqi Bagirov, director of the State Agency for Preschool and General Education, stated this in the information report on the year of the Agency’s activity.
He said that the goal is to attract 1,500 more children to preschool education within the framework of cooperation with private kindergartens:
“The goal of the grant competition for private preschool educational institutions is to attract children who cannot be admitted to public preschool educational institutions in the 2024-2025 academic year to vacant places in private preschool educational institutions and finance a part of tuition through a subsidy.
Funding part of the tuition through a grant will reduce the financial burden on parents and allow more children to participate in a quality education.
With this, the number of children involved in preschool education will increase and the goals of the socioeconomic development strategy in 2022-2026 will be achieved.
The public-private cooperation model is expected to cover 1,500 children. Next year, this project is expected to include more children.”
