The secretary general of the PSOE-A, Juan Espadas, denounced on Wednesday “the pantomime” of the President of the Council, Juanma Moreno, in asking for more money for regional financing of Andalusia, while “manually and uncontrolled diverts 300 million of public funds to private health care”, for which he demanded “responsibilities”.
In a statement, Espadas said that the Office’s auditors agreed with the PSOE-A after certifying that the PP-A government “abused emergency contracts” after the Covid-19 pandemic, awarding nearly 300 million euros “by hand, without justification or legal protection”.
Espadas emphasized the “pantomime” de Moreno, who is “concerned” about the regional funding that Andalusia receives but, ultimately, “gives these resources to private health care, without control or legality.”
In terms of community funding, the Andalusian socialist leader demanded that Moreno “truly serve protect public services and invest in them.”
“Enough of the demagogy, and we demand responsibilities,” Espadas stressed, warning that “if the Council’s auditors agree with us, Moreno Bonilla lied to the Andalusian Parliament“, because “the diversion of public resources to private health care is causing an outcry.”
