Estella resident José Torrecilla has died and the city council “deeply regrets” his loss

“Torrecilla, born in Oteiza in 1929, has lived in the city since he was 9 years old. He was elected “Estellés of the Year” in 2011 and launched the rocket announcing the festivities in 2015.”

“Throughout his professional life, in addition to working at Curtidos, he has collaborated as a columnist in different media, written several books on Estella-Lizarra and “He actively participated in social, cultural and sporting life.”
