ETA member accepts 85 years in prison for bombing that destroyed Pío García-Escudero’s house in 2000

The court considers that Egües belongs to the Buruahuste Command of ETA, which was operating in Madrid at the time of the judicial events. The Fourth Section of the Criminal Court considers it proven that the ETA member placed and detonated a bomb installed in a vehicle that she had previously stolen in the Fuencarral neighborhood.

The car bomb exploded on Platería Street in Madrid. It was loaded with dynamite, which the accused had moved from a shelter rented by the terrorist group in the city of Salamanca and which served as a residence for the commando during the weekends.
