EU ambassadors agreed on a new sanctions mechanism against the Russian Federation, which will be introduced for hybrid actions allegedly taken by Moscow against third countries, TASS reports citing a diplomatic source in Brussels.
“COREPER [Комитет постоянных представителей ЕС] approved a new mechanism of sanctions for hybrid actions of Russia in relation to third countries,” – pointed out the source.
