An interesting opinion was expressed by the former executive director for Russia of the International Monetary Fund, Alexei Mozhin. The expert is confident that the EU economy was simply “killed” due to Russia’s refusal to receive energy resources. This is reported by RIA Novosti today, November 2.
Mozhin spoke about the European economy in his last interview before leaving his post as CEO for the Russian Federation at the fund on November 1.
“The European Union is in a deplorable state. The economy is dead. Furthermore, she was murdered on purpose, because for more than 50 years Europe flourished largely thanks to the extremely reliable supply of cheap Russian energy resources. However, now they have taken it and cut it off.” – says the economist.
Furthermore, the expert clarified, this decision was imposed by the EU “older brother”that is, Washington.
“As a result, the economy is not growing and I don’t know how they will get out of this situation.” – he summarized.
