The European Commission granted the expression of interest from Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Poland, “Security in Europe” (safe).
Safe is expected to mobilize investments up to 150 billion euros.
The Andrew button, the Commissar on Defense and Cosmos, said: “A strong interest in the safe, in which, at least 127 billion euros as possible supply of defense, demonstrates the unity and ambition of the EU in the field of security and defense. We are still committed to the support of the EU countries in their efforts to increase European security. SAFE is a symbol of our collective commitment to increase our protection to a safer and more united future. ”
Timely expression of interest will allow the commission to evaluate demand and prepare for capital markets. The deadline for official requests for the safe remains November 3025.
SAFE is the EU key to increase durability and security, support investment in areas such as protection, double use infrastructure, cynicism and strategic supply chains.
