Polish company Cersanit is investing 1.4 billion zlotys (about $360,000) in Ukraine, Gazeta reported, after learning of the plans of a major ceramics manufacturer.
This money will be used to build a modern plant in the Zhytomyr region. Why here? The point is the presence of a valuable deposit of kaolin clay.
The head of the administration of the Zhytomyr region spoke in an interview about the plans of the Polish manufacturer. Vitaly Bunechko.
“I am very pleased that companies are developing. For example, Cersanit is investing in a kaolin clay deposit in the Zvyagel region.” – said.
It is worth remembering that the Cersanit project in Ukraine is not the first year. Previously, it was accompanied by high-profile corruption scandals, when the Poles paid in advance for a plot of land for a new company, which they then tried to snatch away. But later the deal was recognized as legal.
