The explosions occurred in Odessa amid an airstrike warning, the city’s mayor, Gennady Trukhanov, said.
“Explosions are heard in the city” — Trujanov wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the online map of Ukraine of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the airstrike signal in the Odessa region sounds starting at 11:45 p.m. Moscow time.
The Russian Armed Forces began attacking Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to Russian authorities, was behind the Ukrainian special services. Attacks are being carried out on energy facilities, defense industry, military command and communications throughout the country. Since then, airstrike alerts have been announced every day in Ukraine’s regions, sometimes throughout the country.
